Significant to its name, THIRTY8 is located on the 38th floor boasting a 360-degree city view to complement the elegance of its dining areas, bar and lounge, along with lively show kitchens which serve exquisite cuisines like Western and Chinese. The captivating panoramic view, the dramatic sense of décor and the splendour of its cuisine are what makes THIRTY8 the signature restaurant of the hotel. Whether to entertain business associates or celebrate special occasions with family and friends, THIRTY8 is the place to be.
In view of overwhelming patronage we have received for afternoon tea and dinner, THIRTY8 may encounter full-house situations where seats will not be available for walk-ins. To avoid disappointments and to help us manage all expectations, we strongly recommend advanced reservations to be made for dine-ins at THIRTY8.

2 weeks agoHave been to Thirty8 several times over the past years for different occasions, and still find it a great place to entertain visitors or for special celebrations as it offers one of the best views of the KL Twin Towers alongside an innovative menu and distinctive, signature cocktails. The signature cocktails are not always a win nor the most original hence the less than perfect score honestly - the Thirty8 Sling tastes like a Singapore Sling with a small twist, the spicy Thai inspired cocktail was not all spicy . This time we also tried the Chef + Bar (4 mini cocktails with food pairings) which was a fun and fairly flavorful concept. Steep prices but always an impressive experience for visitors.

4 months agoThe high tea set at Thirty8, priced at RM118 nett per person, is excellent value for money.I requested that all the pastries and desserts be served together or as they were ready, which worked out well. There is a wide selection of pastries, both sweet and savory. The dim sum, especially the crispy chicken salted egg roll, was filling, flavorful, and extremely satisfying!I particularly enjoyed the scones and the black sesame cream cheese. While I’m not a big fan of sweet desserts, I found the Swiss roll to be just average. The chrysanthemum ice cream has a strong flavor profile, is not overly sweet, and is very refreshing. The high tea set includes unlimited coffee and tea, which is a great bonus. The service was excellent, and most importantly, the view of KL city from here is amazing!

4 weeks agoGreat view of the twin tower. Cozy environment but slightly overcrowded and noisy at a certain point. The food was average and not that spectacular. It’s obvious that some of the waiters are newly joined and need more training. Among the dishes we have ordered, only the cod fish was nice and met our expectations.

a month ago1st time staying at this hotel and get a chance to try their breakfast buffet. The spread of food is great with many choices of food; mainly Asian food. You can enjoy your breakfast with a 360 view of the KL city centre, and a full view of KLCC.While there is a fresh juice station at the buffet area, there is also a counter for fresh juice, but choices are limited.Overall, a great place for buffet breakfast, and a fantastic view.

2 months agoLiterally you’re paying exorbitant price for the view and Grand Hyatt brand. Naturally, my expectation was high for the food. Disappointed by the presentation and taste. Was hoping for something more granduer.Pretty decent crowd for lunch on a weekday. Mostly foreigners. Service very attentive especially after we complain of the tattered table mats. To make up, nice of the waitress to offer complimentary ice cream. A+ for effort. Will I return? Nah.. much better restaurants elsewhere with the same price range.
