2 months agoThe presentation of the dishes was really nice everything looked appetizing and well put together. But taste-wise, nothing really stood out to me. Maybe the taste not suitable for me.

2 months agoRather unusual taste but still tasty Soup base is rather tangy. Tried the 0.25 base, just right amount of. Went during lunch and service was OK.

a week agoJust last week, I happily brought my whole family to try out this so-called grilled fish restaurant, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. Here’s what happened: We initially ordered one of their set meals, and quickly noticed that apart from the fish, the crab and shrimp were not fresh at all. That was already bad enough, but what’s worse is that after we got home, my family members started having diarrhea and felt very unwell. And that’s not all — the real issue was when we asked the staff for some tissues. They didn’t say anything at the time, but when we got the bill, we were shocked to find out that they actually charged us for the tissues! One small packet cost RM1 — totally outrageous. This place is seriously a rip-off

a week agoFirstly, the overall taste and texture of the dishes were not very good. The spiciness of the soup completely overpowered its original flavor.Secondly, we ordered two Mini Luxury Sets, but the fish included in the sets only came with fish heads. We had to pay an extra RM50 to get the actual fish meat (we ordered Golden Phoenix Fish). The main issue is that even after paying the additional RM50, what we get is only half the body of the fish. Both sets only came with half a fish each — we never get a whole fish. When we brought this up to the person in charge during checkout, her attitude was unfriendly, and she insisted in a rude tone that they had served us a whole fish. The customer service was truly disappointing.Furthermore, when we asked for tissues, we were told they charge for them — and this wasn’t communicated to us beforehand. But isn’t it a basic standard for restaurants to provide tissues? Why do we still have to pay for that?Overall, the service and food experience were quite unsatisfactory.

a year agoRecently, me and friends visited a highly acclaimed restaurant. Although we weren't entirely satisfied with the taste, we had a few points to address and were confused about the ingredients in the soup.We didn't smell any pleasant aromas, and the flavor of the soup left us puzzled. We ordered the 红枣鱼, but it had a strong fishy taste, and we even found sand in the clams. The portion of rice was small, and what made us hesitate even more was the additional charge of RM1 per small packet of tissues. We believe that providing complimentary tissues is a basic service for a restaurant, especially one of such size.We bravely tried their signature spicy dish, B-0.5, but the spiciness exceeded our expectations. It completely overshadowed the flavor of the soup and left us feeling overwhelmed by the fiery sensation, making it difficult to adapt.Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience at this restaurant and have decided not to visit again. However, if you are interested in a slightly sour and spicy taste or enjoy spicy challenges, you may have a different opinion.
