3 months agoThe food was not that spectacular, crab was a bit pricey, soup was delicious though. Lots of flavor rushing through the mouth. Steamed chicken a bit hard to chew and the sauce was surprisingly on the sweet side.. port knuckles a bit dry and not falling out of the bone type. Ambience , nothing fancy inside its your normal dine in restaurant with circular tables

4 months agoTheir crabs are pricier but come in different flavours. We ordered 3 small crabs for rm118-really small with little meat. Fried mantou is like a baguette but nice. The other dishes are not bad, portions are big. Even during promotion, I still find their crabs pricey.

a month agoGood seafood restaurant in JB - Mount Austin area. As their name suggests, the highlights here are the crabs. We ordered 3 crowd favorites; salted egg, chili crab and black pepper.The black pepper might be a little overwhelming for some. Both the salted egg and chili crab are equally good - in their own way. Couldn’t get enough of the fried mantou x crab sauce combo; we had to order another serving of fried mantou to dip in both the salted egg and chili crab sauces.Will definitely visit this place for seafood when i’m in JB area.A good place for family/friends gathering. Don’t forget to book in advance before going as it is usually full house during peak periods.The only downside is the slow service from their staffs; probably due to full house or peak hours. Don’t be mistaken, i had a wonderful experience here.-lgyh

2 months agoThe food generally are nice but crab is priced on the high side. 2 crabs selling at RM268 that weighs between 500g to 600g each. Request each crab to cook with different flavour, need to pay extra RM28. Special shout out to the lala soup and 突破2012 (which is pork rib, diced chicken and yam ring). The soup looks milky and oily but it tastes clear with slight herbal. The yam ring is full of aroma with lingering after taste.

4 months agoThe crabs are flavorful and the meat are quite sturdy. I would say it’s worth a try, if you are happen to be in Tebrau area. As for freshness wise, I prefer to leave it to the next visit when dine in to give a fair review.As for the prawns, 🦐 it is consider quite tasty but freshness wise, I am giving a second thought.It is still considerably good as you can also find something real close to SG.Price wise comparing to the size of the crab, it is slightly cheaper than SG.Anyway Mount Austin is not a cheap place to be expected.Generally, it is still good to try if you prefer commercialize restaurant, I would prefer authentic seaside restaurant( personal preference)
