Makan Kitchen, DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru

Always a fans of Makan kitchen. Food is always so good and alot of variety. They also organise event too during Mother's day which make the dining environment so lively. Well done team, keep up the good work!

First time visiting, the options at Doubletree makan kitchen continues to impress, in fact I think this is one of the better makan kitchen selections and quality I have had, fantastic! Almost everything on the menu is decent to great especially the cold cuts like smoked duck, chicken, etc. Aside from the standard egg station and noodle station, Double Hilton Johor also offers handmade teh tarik and kluang coffee, piping hot and not sweet at all! The service and ambience were amazing as well, I always had one or two staff within reachable distance should I need any assistance and my table is always cleared whenever I'm done with a plate. Overall a great experience, do come try it at least once if you can!

Had breakfast on 2 occasions. Spread was extensive on first impression.Highlight - fresh juice, teh tarik Downside - pastry took sweet and lack texture. Looks are deceiving. Due to the vast spread, food tend to be overcooked and very heavy in salt content.Service staff very attentive and welcoming.

This is my second visit to Makan Kitchen . First visit was wonderful with a spoilt of variety to choose from compared to this round . And I am actually paying more (RM188) this round . Not sure if it’s the hari raya festive that the fresh food wasn’t as expected . Just disappointed.

Quit disappointed.. 198 per pax not even have lobster. The best food is waffle. Most of the chickens meat are not juicy, dry. However, the staffs service is good, surrounding environment is clean n tidy.
