The seating area is crowded, hot and many people will passed by, dont expect a dining experience where you can talk and chill. This is a no frills establishment, you eat then after finish paid and leave. Home cooked Cantonese food at a great value. Seafood dishes are very fresh. The steam fish and salted egg squid is tasty.
As for the environment, we were there st 4.30pm and part of the restaurant is facing west.. so it is super hot although all the ceiling fans are turned on. I suppose night time will be more comfortable.
Overall, if you are looking for good value, home cooked, strong taste food, give it a try.

Don’t be mistake that this is a Malay restaurant! It is fully Chinese with extremely good food! Highly recommended the salted egg mantis prawn, must try the chicken (although they run out of the herbal chicken). The steam chicken comes with very good ginger sauce. The simple fried sweet potatoes leave come with ample of wok hey and good garlic taste not to mention the crispy calamari.
5 star food in Kuantan. Oh make reservations, it is packed all the time.
