The food here is tasty and reasonably priced. However, the hygiene could use some improvement. It can get quite crowded on weekends and public holidays, making parking a bit of a challenge.
Overall a value for money place to eat. We came here 2 days in a row for dinner. The seafood were so so fresh. On our second dinner, we ordered the signature praw and 2 crabs, vegetables, tofu and red fish and the total bill was around RM250. Crab was RM60 per piece. The uncle who took our order was very friendly and would stop us from ordering too much. Thank you for that. Food portion was really big. Special note on toilet, I didn't use it but my friend did and she said it was in bad condition. Maybe the owner can try to improve the hygiene on that.
Overall the food is tasty and price is super affordable. We have ordered four dishes for five of us, it is super full. Surprisingly , it is only average RM25 per pax. Luckily we went earlier which around 6pm. It is super long queue after we finished the food.
Service ok. Food serving speed ok.
But food very lousy..standard drop alot compare 10years ago..yam ring serve in cold, the pork ribs all like soft bone, is not the pork rib and the yam ring color make seem not fresh at all..the vege just normal..overrated restaurant.can skip this restaurant when u come kuatan..
Home cooked Cantonese food at a great value. Seafood dishes are very fresh. The steam fish and salted egg squid is tasty.
As for the environment, we were there st 4.30pm and part of the restaurant is facing west.. so it is super hot although all the ceiling fans are turned on. I suppose night time will be more comfortable.
Overall, if you are looking for good value, home cooked, strong taste food, give it a try.
