a very cost little bistro with fantastic service and delicious food, good for date nights, celebrations and even a little treat for yourself. the apple pie was a stand out, delicious mix of sweet, smokey, crunchy and bright fruitiness. the fish stew was delicious but not particularly outstanding - i would probably go for another main the next time.

Very cute store in Penang I had an ego and it was truly bring me back to France. The tomato soup was so creamy. We had a lunch set The mac & cheese and a perfect portion of dessert. We really love the ambience that is one bus girl from the back of the kitchen. She is so lovely and friendly.

Every time I fly into Penang, I make it a point to visit Two Frenchies. This is my 3rd time visiting and it’s an absolutely joy to have lunch or dinner there! Stick to the French food and you’ll never go wrong, every dish was amazing. Especially the French onion soup and the Lamb Stew 💯The staff is warm and friendly, I highly recommend visiting them.

Not sure if the chef is French but the food seemed quite authentic in a classic sort of way. Would have expected more evidence of fresh French herbs eg. rosemary, thyme, chervil or sage to add more nuance to the aroma of the dishes.Found the French onion to be excellent. Really good beef stock base. The finishing touch of the scorched Gruyère really added much depth and umami to the sweetish soup. Loved that it was served in a ceramic bowl. The pan fried duck breast (Canard Magret) was done medium with still some pink in it. It was perfectly moist and quite tender. The balsamic ‘reduction’ was a worthy complement. Only wished the skin was better caramelised and crispy. The layer of fat was substantial and a little more rendering would have made it less chewy. The apple tart (Tarte aux Pommes) was a visual delight and refreshing with the use of green sour apples. It was not too sweet and deliciously paired with a freshly baked base of puff pastry. A second smaller dessert was had. A smooth, delicately light and creamy Crème Brûlée. It was a nice way to end the meal. Special compliment to the house Malbec.Service was highly knowledgeable and courteous. A very fine team. Prices are highly reasonable for the quality.
