“Teksen Restaurant: Worth the Hype and the Wait!”Teksen is an absolute gem, but be ready for a wait—like, a long wait. The queue is no joke, so I highly recommend making an advance booking; it’ll save you from the line and get you to the delicious food faster. The menu is extensive, and as a foreigner, I couldn’t understand everything, but the staff were incredibly helpful. They walked me through every dish, making sure I knew what I was getting into. The atmosphere is traditional Chinese, giving it that authentic, old-world charm. The food? Chef’s kiss. Every plate we tried was spot on. Their signature double roasted pork with chili is a must-try; it’s no wonder this place is Michelin-recommended! The prices are reasonable, and they even accept credit cards, which is a plus. The drinks were great too, perfectly complementing the meal. If you’re planning to visit, my advice: make a reservation and show up early. This place is popular for a reason, and you don’t want to miss out!

It is very nice restaurant! Great taste. The seats get filled very quickly. We had three dishes with one fired rice. They were perfect. The home recipe double roasted pork with chili was our favorite.

Touristy, but excellent food.Prices are very reasonable. Can recommend the double roasted pork and the stir-fry garlic broccoli. If you want the best chance of getting a seat I would recommend getting there at 5:15, as shortly after the line starts getting very long.

Teksen Restaurant serves a range of delicious dishes perfect for lunch. The double roasted pork dense with sweet and oily, while the bitter melon with omelet offers a unique flavor combination. The stingray curry is rich and flavorful, and the steamed fish in Teochew style has a delightful sour taste with soy sauce. The soup of the day, featuring baby squid, dried fruit, radish, and pork rib, is also tasty and worth trying. Overall, a great spot for a satisfying meal.

Michelin recommended Tze Char lives up to its name. Reservation highly recommended as they filled up quickly and limited spaces for walk-in.Some of the items recommended as my family and I loved them that we ordered the second time when we were back for lunch the next day includes stir fried prawns with tamarind sauce which was addictive and goes well with rice.Other items ordered were good too! Great that we have 6 pax hence could try more items.
