a month agoI had dinner here both of the 2 nights I spent in George Town. Food was out of this world. Incredible taste. The only thing better than the food was the service. There’s no menu and I had no idea what or how to order but the men working there were very helpful and suggested different things to try. I had the same dish both nights but one night with chicken was 14.50MR and without chicken 8.50MR. Best food I had in Penang. I went around 8pm both nights and there was no line.

3 months agoAnother fantastic Nasi Kandar in Georgetown. I went a little after lunchtime and there’s still a line of customers. But the line moves fast due to quick service.I picked the fried chicken, beef curry and some vegetables. My meal was delicious and price reasonable. Generous portion size too.Whenever you come to these restaurants you never have to worry leaving hungry.

3 months agoThis is the first time I brought my family to have a taste of line clear nasi kandar. Looking at the reviews since , the food and the dishes was reported to have a good taste to many, but for us it was just a decent normal taste, quite a bit bland for me.I thought it will be super spicy and having a rich taste as reviewed by many but unfortunately it does not combine with many sauce on top of it. Many customers too stated the cost of a meal here has gone to be very pricey these days. For tourist and newcomers, if you just curious about the place it's okay to come here and have your first taste. But for me and my family the nasi kandar here has been written off from our favourite penang t.

2 months agoToday, I had an amazing lunch with my family at Nasi Kandar Line Clear in Penang, one of the most famous spots for authentic nasi kandar. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by the aroma of rich, flavorful curries and the sight of steaming hot trays of delicious dishes.I went for the classic combo fluffy white rice drenched in a mix of kuah banjir , paired with crispy fried chicken and a side of okra. The flavors were intense, a perfect balance of spices that left a lingering heat. My family enjoyed their own selections, each plate looking more tempting than the next.Despite the crowd, the service was quick, and the lively atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. Sitting together, sharing good food, and soaking in the authentic charm of this legendary eatery made for a truly memorable meal. Nasi Kandar Line Clear gotta definitely lived up to its reputation an absolute must-visit for any food lover in Penang.
