A Feast for the Senses
Nestled on the bustling Penang Road, Line Clear is a no-frills haven for nasi kandar lovers. Picture a vibrant scene: steaming trays piled high with colorful curries, fragrant gravies, and crispy fried delights. The air is thick with the aroma of spices, and the rhythmic clatter of spoons against plates creates a lively symphony.
A Culinary Adventure
Line Clear’s menu is a celebration of Penang’s culinary heritage. You’ll find all the classics: rich rendang, fiery sambal prawns, creamy curries in every shade of yellow and green, and crispy fried chicken that shatters with every bite. But the beauty of nasi kandar lies in its personalization. Choose your rice (white, basmati, or biryani), point to your desired dishes, and watch your plate transform into a vibrant canvas of flavors and textures.
Beyond the Food
What truly makes Line Clear special is its atmosphere. It’s a place where locals and tourists rub shoulders, families gather for Sunday feasts, and conversations flow as freely as the kuah gravy. The friendly staff adds to the charm, always happy to guide you through the menu and recommend their favorites.

a month agoMany choces of nasi kandar in Penang but this place worth to try. Ask for 'kuah campur' to spread it all over your plate and enjoy. Located in small alley may not be a place of choice for some but the food flavors will compensate it all.

6 months agoThe place is in the alley, clean area. The way to order is you only need to queue and when it's time for you to order, you just say what dishes you want. Then you will choose the available seats and the waiter will ask what drinks you want to order.Food: Grilled shrimp 7.5/10 Fried Chicken 8/10Drink: Whole Coconut 6/10 Glass Coconut 7.5/10Everything is good but honestly nothing really special about the food. It's just good to came here if you're hungry instead of having an expectation to try something different, because in fact, it is not.

6 months agoYou must be notice the signboard because it located near a corner and you have to go to an alley. However there will be an old Indian man will show you the way Those Indian men are friendly despite of their outlook. The portion is so big with steamed rice, chicken (spicy or sweet) with garbage and cucumbers. The rice is long and different with my country, but it is sweet and tasty thanks to the sauce. The cucumbers is quite bitter We also order milk tea and lemon tea. The flavor of tea is quite clear, but the lemon tea is not sour as we expect.
