Nice nasi Kandar maybe? But its not for me. Its remind me at my country with Nasi Padang but with more sweet taste. The rice maybe we are not so lucky or to long to take home so the rice got wired texture. But the meat is good. Its so soft and well seasoned. Then the shrimp is quite hard. But the season is good with more on the sweet side.

I visited the renowned Nasi Ganja a few days ago, and honestly, the experience was mixed. While the food wasn’t bad, it didn’t live up to the hype. The rice was overcooked, the ayam merah lacked tenderness, and the curries were overwhelmed by excessive masala powder. The presentation left much to be desired, with the plate arriving in a rather messy state and cleanliness appearing questionable. On the bright side, the service was outstanding. The waitstaff were fast, efficient, and genuinely friendly—qualities that are increasingly rare in many mamaks. Their excellent service made the visit more pleasant, but it wasn’t enough to make up for the food quality. Will I return? Probably not, especially if it's for the food.

Dined here after a 4 hour long ride from KL. Man, i was starving! Upon arriving, there's a very long line and once seated, u are supposed to order from there. If u say Satu rice, they will automatically give u chicken/ayam nasi kandar. The other line outside is for takeaway, I think. Very fast paced and busy resto, u share with strangers in one table. Idk what the hype is all about, but the food fills u up (tho it only tasted spicy to me and somethings is kinda missing) and the drinks tasted very refreshing. We had Iced Teh and Limau Ice. Very affordable price. 👍

Went with families as early at 9am. Portion is great. The food is ok. But I’ve taste better. Lamb curry is frozen meat cut into cube, not my taste. Once is enough I think. The hype is unreal.

Ordered ayam merah and rice cooked so well! Got mix of kuah and very nice, quite hot spicy so be prepared for those tak tahan pedas. Papadom good with crunchy fresh one.Cendol also good bcs of creamy taste of santan and not too sweet, just nice of sweetness of gula melaka I think.Recommended
