5 months agoBelow average, Meh…, Won’t come back! Not that I did not have a great time here, but it’s definitely not a fine dining setting or environment. The whole time I was dining, I was raving about Entier French dining in my head compared to this place. Please save your money equally to there. The only thing that was good was the bavette.. good medium rare… the entree & desert…? Can do wayyyyyy much better… I mean?? Come on… egg yolk on trout tar tar??? What am I? 5 years old? Pavlova/meringue for dessert? I can go to a cafe for that…Chef, you can do better.. there was no life in your food.

8 months agoService is excellence. Appreciated the passion and friendliness.Atmosphere is good even though located at 3 star hotel. I know some hidden gems do the same.Food is average, can be better. Ingredients is there but the taste is not favorable or memorable kind. No element of surprise. But it's depends on your own taste.

11 months agoI have dined here several times but never had their Set Lunch Menu, rm150nett - 3 Course Set.I particularly liked the flexibility in this menu, i choose 2 from Entrees + 1 Main.I enjoyed my Pasta Mains - Wild Caught Prawns & the Onion Soup. The escargots, i felt wasn’t flavourful enough. My friends enjoyed their selection too.We didn’t select the Room but it was the same room when one of my friend’s celebrated her 50th Birthday. And, today we were same group of friends in the same room - what a coincident.

a year agoOne of the longest lasting fine dining establishments, heard great stuffs about it. Came for wife's bday dinner. Have to say, wasn't thoroughly impressed with the food. Taste for everything seems to be on the milder side. Started great with the sea urchin but everything after was just so so. Service was good. Opted for the seasonal menu, may give give them another try in the future.

2 months agoA stalwart of fine dining in the city. Some may say that the food does not carry the punch of other establishments, but that is missing the point... the joy of Cilantro lie in the smaller, finer, delicate details.Wednesday dinner tasting menu feels a bit more adventurous or at least when the crew lets their hair down a bit... some of my favorite experiences lie here along with perhaps the very rare questionable one.The staff always on point but the restaurant itself can do with a spruce up. Always wished Cilantro would live up to the latter part of its name... the wine bar. It's got a good selection to be explored.
