2 weeks agoRevisited them 2 years later. Unique concept of trying different states coffee and there is a difference in taste indeed.Kopi o kosong tasted nicer and stronger/roasted than the perek kopi c kosong Ice but personal preference. Like how it looks so frothy despite being a kopi o.Didn't realise this but the sweet sago dessert is a FANTASTIC combination with the bitter kopi o kosong, nicely contrasting :D

2 weeks ago📍 ᴄᴀʟᴀɴᴛʜᴇ ᴀʀᴛ ᴄᴀꜰᴇ- If you’re a coffee lover wandering the colorful streets of Melaka, Calanthe Art Cafe is one of those rare gems that feels like a secret you’re glad to discover. I dropped by for a mid-afternoon caffeine fix and was completely charmed. Not just by the coffee, but the whole vibe of the place. They serve coffee from all 13 Malaysian states (how cool is that?), and I tried two different blends. Each had its own distinct character, nuanced, rich, and full of stories in every sip. My pick? The Melaka and Sabah blends. The café itself is like stepping into an art journal. The walls are covered in hand-painted murals, eclectic decor spills into every corner, and the space pulses with creativity. It’s cozy, bohemian, and slightly chaotic in the best way, like an artist’s dream studio turned into a coffee haven. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, which added to the experience. I didn’t come for the food this time, but honestly, this is a spot I’d return to just for the coffee and ambiance.A must-visit for anyone into coffee culture, cozy nooks, and artistic vibes. Come for the brew, stay for the atmosphere.

2 weeks agoLoved the ambience of the place. It's filled with many collectable items. Rather eccentric, but I loved the vibes. Food was tasty. I loved my curry laksa. My nephew enjoyed his buttermilk chicken. The starters were awesome, too. We had the popcorn chicken and vegetable samosas. Overall, I like this place. Highly recommended.

4 months agoReally enjoyed the food here! The laksa was super flavorful, and I liked that you can adjust the spiciness by adding chili. The chicken ponteh had a nice, home-cooked feel to it, which was comforting. The vibe of the place is really chill with an old-school charm. Also, the sweet sago with gula Melaka was such a treat. Definitely worth checking out!
