Friendly staffs, very professional. Coffee taste good. And you can really taste the difference of the two coffees from two different states, I prefer kedah one… the kaya toast also best. Worth to try, the ambient also good, u can enjoy the interior decoration while having coffee. For sure will come again!!!

Calanthe Art Cafe, nestled on the bustling Jonker Street, offers a unique blend of antique charm and modern convenience. The cafe's vintage aesthetic creates a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break amidst the hustle and bustle of the street. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the ordering process a breeze. The straightforward scan-and-order system is efficient and user-friendly, allowing for a quick and easy experience. The standout dish was undoubtedly the Nyonya Laksa. It was a truly satisfying bowl, brimming with lemak (coconut milk) and generously filled with a variety of fresh ingredients. The latte cold was also well-executed, meeting expectations. However, the Perak cold kopi C kosong, while decent, was slightly disappointing. It felt a bit watered down and lacked the robust, signature kick that one typically associates with Perak Kopi.

Maybe Singapore laksa different variantAlso had Cheong fun which was not good at all. Texture not good and flavours missingKaya toast was bare minimum effort. Barely toasted bread and you spread your own butter and Kaya. Just didn’t taste rightCoffee solid. Had the Melaka version ice and was deliciousWas a good experience but just felt like food lacking abit

We found the restaurant by accident while walking. The front of the shop was covered with many green trees. We were very impressed and decided to enter the shop. We visited late at noon so the restaurant was quite quiet, pleasant, and a little hot. The cafe here is very delicious, a place to try when coming to Melaka.
