Significant to its name, THIRTY8 is located on the 38th floor boasting a 360-degree city view to complement the elegance of its dining areas, bar and lounge, along with lively show kitchens which serve exquisite cuisines like Western and Chinese. The captivating panoramic view, the dramatic sense of décor and the splendour of its cuisine are what makes THIRTY8 the signature restaurant of the hotel. Whether to entertain business associates or celebrate special occasions with family and friends, THIRTY8 is the place to be.
In view of overwhelming patronage we have received for afternoon tea and dinner, THIRTY8 may encounter full-house situations where seats will not be available for walk-ins. To avoid disappointments and to help us manage all expectations, we strongly recommend advanced reservations to be made for dine-ins at THIRTY8.

2 weeks agoLiterally you’re paying exorbitant price for the view and Grand Hyatt brand. Naturally, my expectation was high for the food. Disappointed by the presentation and taste. Was hoping for something more granduer.Pretty decent crowd for lunch on a weekday. Mostly foreigners. Service very attentive especially after we complain of the tattered table mats. To make up, nice of the waitress to offer complimentary ice cream. A+ for effort. Will I return? Nah.. much better restaurants elsewhere with the same price range.

2 months agoThe high tea set at Thirty8, priced at RM118 nett per person, is excellent value for money.I requested that all the pastries and desserts be served together or as they were ready, which worked out well. There is a wide selection of pastries, both sweet and savory. The dim sum, especially the crispy chicken salted egg roll, was filling, flavorful, and extremely satisfying!I particularly enjoyed the scones and the black sesame cream cheese. While I’m not a big fan of sweet desserts, I found the Swiss roll to be just average. The chrysanthemum ice cream has a strong flavor profile, is not overly sweet, and is very refreshing. The high tea set includes unlimited coffee and tea, which is a great bonus. The service was excellent, and most importantly, the view of KL city from here is amazing!

in the last weekBooked a weekend afternoon tea for two. Love the service and hospitality from the crew. The food was nice, we requested a second serving of the jam, cream and cheese for the scones as it was really good! The fish dimsum dish was also amazing. The egg custard was slightly hanyir and not warm enough like the usual japanese chawanmushi, but the rest of the food was excellent. Great experience!

5 months agoGood place to celebrate birthday with your loved ones. The food was really nice, even have to wait for quite a long time for the next dishes being served. But it’s fine as you can have more time to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.Great service, too, as I’ve requested for a table with KLCC view and really able to get one. Also, if you have a bouquet of flower, they could help deliver from the hotel lobby. Wonderful experience.
